Here is our version of an old time bath.  Couldn’t she be the Johnson and Johnson baby?   How adorable is she?

Actual Sessions from Bald Head Island

We had the opportunity to photograph several different couples and people on the Island.  We had a blast and got some amazing images.

Here are a few of my favorite images.  More to come later.

Here is a married couple we photographed near the light house.  They were so fun and in love.

This engagement couple were very romantic.  I love to see images that portray relationships.

This couple were photographers that came to let us photograph them, so that they could have some images of the two of them, instead of being on the other side of the camera.  They  sure knew how to work the camera.

Here is a more casual night shot of them on the beach.  I love this image.

Bald Head Island images

Here are some of my favorite images from my workshop on Bald Head Island in North Carolina.   Yes, now I want to live there.  Everywhere I go, I decide I would love to move there.  First it was Jamaica, then Florida, now Bald Head Island.  I am called to move somewhere warm, alothough I would miss spring and fall in Kansas

It was wayyyyyyy to cold to swim, even though when I saw dolphins playing I seriously considered diving in.

images from Florida conference

Now that I have a blog, I want to share images from my travels.  I love photographing stuff when I am in new areas.  Who knows when I might need “stock” images.  I just love photographing. ( anything)   Here are some images from Florida, in January.

Monday morning

I am so excited to have a new blog, or blob as my daughter would say.  What a cool way to communicate with all my family, friends, and clients.   I will try to upload at least one of my favorite images from each new session, so stay tuned to see some amazing stuff.  I have learned so much over the past couple of months that I am so excited to get busy using it all.  I have decided to take it slow for a couple of months and limit sessions, so that I can focus on putting policies and procedures in place so that my business will run seamlessly during the busy summer and fall months.  My goal is that every one of my clients should have an amazing experience with Cameo Photography and tell everyone they know that they should contact  Cameo for a beautiful wall portrait.  I want to offer new experiences for new babies and children and have even put together a cool new  “Gift from God”  experience that will include documentation of pregnancy through the babies first year.   I am working on some fun experiences for seniors that will include a day driving around K.C.  and using random  urban backdrops for some amazing senior portraits that will be so unique that no one else will have anything like it.   We are also looking for suggestions on senior sessions.  Do you have any cool places or ideas that we can use?   Post them here, I am always up for something new.  We are in the process of updating the website with new images and a new look.  So, keep checking back for the cool new stuff that is coming soon!

What I learned from my Uncle Mark

If it hadn’t been for being exposed at an early age to my Uncle Mark, I probably would have gone into the bicycle customization business.
